Biography

About Jaron Clayton

Jaron grew up in North Seattle and attended the Art Institute of Seattle before joining the United States Army. In 2008, he deployed to Iraq, where he served for one year.

After returning home, Jaron married Maggie Clayton and began building a career outside the military. He worked as a beverage production supervisor before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator.

Jaron and Maggie later combined their entrepreneurial interests to open Running Dogs Brewery in Oregon. They began sharing the brewery’s story on social media in 2019, laying the foundation for what would eventually become TheBlondeBrewer.

After the brewery closed during the pandemic, the couple continued creating together and shifted their focus to comedy and digital media. Their recurring “Gangsta’s Paradise” sketches helped grow TheBlondeBrewer into a cross-platform audience, and their work now spans comedy videos, family storytelling, music-video appearances and the short documentary Staged.

Jaron and Maggie are the co-authors of the children’s picture book Don’t Throw Things at Daddy, inspired by the playful premise of their best-known sketches.
