About Maggie Clayton
Maggie grew up in the Midwest before moving to Washington state, where she met Jaron through a church youth group. As they jokingly tell it, Maggie ‘Yoko Ono’d’ the band: she was dating the rhythm guitar player before stealing the singer’s heart and winning Jaron over. The rest is history.
Maggie and her husband, Jaron Clayton, began sharing the story of their Oregon brewery on TikTok in 2019. After the brewery closed during the pandemic, they continued creating together as TheBlondeBrewer and developed a recognizable style of relationship comedy.
The duo’s recurring “Gangsta’s Paradise” sketches pair Jaron’s jokes with Maggie’s exaggerated slow-motion reactions. Their work now includes comedy videos, family storytelling, music-video appearances and the short documentary Staged.
Maggie and Jaron are the co-authors of the children’s picture book Don’t Throw Things at Daddy, which translates the playful premise of their signature sketches into a family story.
